I went on a week-long walking trek with Ventura Adventura and spent each day rock climbing, diving into waterfalls, staying in the houses of the locals who had built their houses with plastic bottles and mud, picking coffee for our breakfast from the bushes outside our accommodation, camping in a cave that had a river running through it, snorkelling in the amazing crystal clear cave pools, trekking across lunar-like landscapes, joining an ‘end of harvest’ festival, Forró dancing and and early morning (4am) brass band playing at the end of the week. It blew my mind.
Arts & Crafts (especially calligraphy), boarding (skate, paddle, snow and surfing), football, jogging, swimming, cliff-walking and anything else action-based that I come across.
