Favourite Place in the world

British Columbia - Canada

British Columbia - Canada

There are so many places in the world that I've been to with such happy memories. Having lived in Canada twice when I was younger, British Columbia takes some beating. It’s rugged, it’s wild, and if you love winter skiing, Whilstler Resort is just about the best you’ll find anywhere.

About Paul

I have always had a passion for the sea and have been lucky enough to own a motor boat. I’ve had  some amazing adventures hopping between the Channel Islands, anchoring and swimming in sheltered bays and visiting beautiful ports along the northern coast of France. And if you ever get to visit the Echreous or Iles des Chaussey -  well there’s nothing on Earth quite like them.

Favourite Quote
In the end, it’s not the years in your life that count, it’s the life in your years.
- Abraham Lincoln

What is your dream occupation and why?
Being a huge petrol head, it would have to be a presenter on the original version of Top Gear. Each episode, millions of viewers must have thought to themselves, ‘don’t Clarkson, May and Hammond just have the greatest jobs… the world’.

What's number 1 on your bucket list?
Riding an adventure motorcycle from the northern tip of Alaska to Tierra Del Fuego, South America’s most southerly point with 2/3 of my closest friends. Maybe I got the bug for this when in 2003, I rode a mountain bike across Mexico from the Atlantic to the Pacific coast in aid of charity!

Who is your favourite actor or actress?
Sean Connery – he was the ultimate 007 and he certainly knew (and still does) how to woo the ladies!
