Favourite Place in the world
The Maldives is just the beautiful place I've ever visited. It's the closest thing to paradise - especially when you know it's grey and grim back in Jersey.
What is number 1 on your bucket list?
Perhaps running a small holding in the south of France post retirement, and seeing my children succeed in whatever they decide to do in life.
What is your dream occupation & why?
It would have to be something on the sea, perhaps Superyacht Captain, sailing around to the best places in the world… obviously!
What are your hobbies?
I have two boys aged six and nine, who keep me busy. I also enjoy teaching them fishing and going out boating.
I love cooking and entertaining for friends. My favourite thing is lighting the fire pit in the garden, getting the BBQ going and inviting a few folk over.
If you could invite any three people to dinner, past or present, who would they be?
Michael Jordan. A hero of mine growing up, what he achieved in basketball was truly phenomenal – widely regarded as the greatest basketball player of all time. I still have some Air Jordans!
Daniel Craig. Loved him in Layer Cake, and I think a great James Bond. I bet he has some interesting stories.
Raymond Blanc to give me a hand in the kitchen, and because he seems a really nice guy.
I know of no single formula for success. But over the years I have observed that some attributes of leadership are universal and are often about finding ways of encouraging people to combine their efforts, their talents, their insights, their enthusiasm and their inspiration to work together.

I used to work over in Guernsey quite a lot and I loved De Nellos, I highly recommend the lobster linguine! … in Jersey for me it has to be Longueville Manor for a long Sunday lunch.
